Breeders of the American Rabbit N.S.C.

Thank you for your interest in the Breeders of the American Rabbit (BAR) national specialty club. We are the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) recognized organization in place to support breeders of the American rabbit breed.

BAR was chartered in September 2009 through the hard work of a handful of dedicated breeders and the ARBA's liaison committee. The club was formed to pick up the baton from the struggling American Blue and White Rabbit Breeders Club (ABWRC). Former members and Directors of ABWRC helped guide the process and offered priceless advice to help get the new club off the ground.

Today, the club is governed by its Constitution and Bylaws and a volunteer Board of Directors. BAR also has a handful of committees appointed to help guide the organization. Our annual meeting is held in conjuction with the ARBA National Convention. Our elections are held in June of each year.
